I'm currently trying to get through an art block so I'm going to be posting old sketches and sketch-dumps.
Hope you guys don't mind, I just need to take time on my art.

Being blind in one eye Rowan has a hard time with his depth perception, however thankfully he has a little help. Noa (pronounced Noah) a jackalop (or my take on a jackalop in the world of my creatures) is a friend of Rowans, they met when Rowan was an adolescent. Realising Rowan's problems with his depth perception Noa took it upon herself to be his eyes when he goes on long patrols. Being a male bull griffin wandering and patrolling are major parts of their life. Usually never staying in the same place. Which for Noa is not a problem since she doesn't like to stay in one place too long.
Though helping with Rowan's sight isn't the only thing Noa does, she reports to Rowan when there are predators near by, and helps watching over the flock.
However they do enjoy joking around and Noa helps Rowan loosen up a bit. Since loosing his brother and some of his original flock to predators Rowan ended up being a little uptight and over protective. While still a little uptight he's learned to joke around and relax.

Still need to write some notes on how Jackalops operate in my creatures world, however I like Noa so expect to see her pop up here and there.
