Alice in Realityland

Alice found herself back in Wonderland, but this time something was amiss. The magic that once permeated every corner had vanished, replaced by a gray and oppressive aura. The familiar landscape was now a hive of smoking factories, chimneys spewing black clouds, and workers rushing tirelessly. Instead of flowers and fantastical creatures, endless gears turned, pipes transported mysterious liquids, and the air was thick with smoke and sweat.
As she walked along the path, Alice encountered the Mad Hatter. He no longer smiled, his face serious and bitter. He wore a smart suit, a symbol of his new role as a banker, and instead of his usual hat, he sported a top hat with banknotes protruding from the band. The March Hare and the Dormouse, once playmates, now ran endlessly on a conveyor belt, slaves to the frantic pace of capitalism.
Upon reaching the palace, Alice found the Red Queen. She was the only one resisting change, barricading herself in her castle to protect the magic that still lingered. However, her power weakened each day, and sadness was reflected in her gaze.
In this Wonderland dominated by greed and materialism, the Red Queen became Alice's only ally. Together, they fought to preserve the spark of magic that still persisted, confronting a world that had forgotten joy and fantasy.
