Description
Used alongside with M1917 Enfield. They were issued to the Philippine Army Division and Philippine Scouts, meant for possible WW1 deployments although it didn't materialized. They were also used by the newly formed Philippine Army (Philippine Commonwealth Army) and saw action in WW2 alongside M1917 rifles. Following its surrender in 1942, most of these rifles were ended up in Japanese hands or was re-issued to the collaboriationist army of the Makapili. The rifle were currently used as drill rifles by the AFP and by the CAFGU local forces in limited use.
