Adrien becomes hyper-aware of his ring(s) and the people who wear them. He can even sense their emotions and guess what they want from him before they say it. But he keeps this a secret.

This is a major change from when he had no clue he was a senti monster. Now that he knows that at a conscious level and is in such intense situations, his survival instinct unleashes a one-of-a-kind ability that very few (or maybe none at all) other senti monsters possess. He starts rapidly developing a deeper connection with the people who wear the rings. He's working on this internally without sharing it with anyone, not even Plagg (Lila hardly lets Adrien have personal conversations with anyone, including kwamis).
This leads him to approach Lila in a way that no one else ever has.

Lila, who's a cold and scheming person, but also who doesn't really understand what a 'senti monster' truly is, starts imagining Adrien as the perfect match for her. Adrien becomes a truly captivating senti monster in her eyes.

Lila won't change; she'll remain cold and evil, and she won't allow any real bonds to form with anyone, especially with her captive. Adrien doesn't expect her to trust him fully either. He just needs a brief moment to deceive her and change the game. He's using every opportunity he gets to slowly win her affection step by step.

The seeds of Lila's downfall were present from the start. Adrien, the senti monster, was simply too perfect for her to resist.

This is the path I'm taking. Shifting the dynamics arises from Lila's own limits and Adrien's personal growth of inner strength.
