I was going to post the next page of giderah today but I wanted to do some more work on it and I'm going to be gone all day so instead you get the next horse portrait! woo!I was saving posting this one because it's my favorite.
This is a paint mare called Famous.I just think she is so gorgeous! Here is the original photo I worked from so you can see for yourself! [link]
I just love her eyeliner!
I've always struggled drawing horses faces head on and I feel like something clicked while working on this

Stunning. Simply elegant. I love the markings on the paint. I also enjoy the fact that you have the tail braided together instead of free flowing. It looks more realistic and more tangeable. Very high quality work. Bravo!

You did a lovely job on this, it is definitely one of my favorite pieces from you! One of the things I really like, and I noticed it on your Appaloosa picture as well, is that you have that fade out section between the spots/patches and the main coat color. It's a nice touch of realism that I'm glad you maintained.
