Seadall: So please, do not hesitate. Ask as many questions as you like. Ask me about the strange and wonderful foods I tasted for the first time at the border village. Or about the morning sun I watched set the sky on fire as it rose over the desert oasis. There are so many questions I hope you ask. And so many stories I hope to tell you.
Alcryst: Your tales mesmerize me, Seadall. I can’t wait to get lost in them again. Please, tell me a new one─and another after that! Tell me stories until the break of dawn.

Artwork completed for the FE Rarepair Week over on Tumblr . This was for Day 5, and I went with "Memories".

Oh dear, I barely finished this in time. Actually, I've had the idea for this artwork ever since I played Engage and got Alcryst and Seadall's supports, so when I saw the prompts for Day 5 I knew I had to try and draw this if I could. Well, I'm sure I'd have drawn it eventually anyhow, I was very taken with how sweet their supports were.

(Also, fun fact! Argyll patterned socks became popular in the 1920s, and given how 20s-inspired a lot of Brodian fashion seems to be--i.e. Citrinne's flapper look--I was very pleased to have an excuse to give Alcryst some Argyll socks...although mostly that's because the idea of shoes on furniture is like nails on a chalkboard to me. In any case, I hope to get a lot more fanart for Engage out now that I'm more comfortable with translating the highly saturated color palettes to fit my style, and I can't wait to draw more fantasy-20s clothing).
