Kudos on your work and DD. It really is a lovely piece.
I've noticed your dissatisfaction about "adding in something interesting". I think the real source of your dissatisfaction is not the subject matter or whatever that is portrayed in the composition but the layout itself. I've noticed that the layout of the composition is rather 'flat', i.e. there isn't an apparent hierarchy between the subjects regarding to being dominant or not to the viewer's perception. Thus, our eyes check out the well rendered characters one by one but they don't "wander around" which we usually interpret as being "interesting". Well at least that's what I think about it. Otherwise there isn't anything lacking in workmanship or the ideas.

wow~.thanks for your kind advice, and it hit my weakness.Okey ,initially, i just want to portray tree red panda with simple line. so i meant to flat it ,however ,when i decide to paint more,i found that it's not easy for it's perspective is wrong. OMG, drop it or continue it?and now you see the result .haha, i'll pay more attention to perspective and hierarchy.
GOOD Advice!pal.

I'm really glad if I could be of any help. I think you are already competent in perspective. I think you'd save time by seeking stuff teaching about "layout as a language". Storyboarding books, more advanced versions of "how to draw comics" books or even stuff about cinematography. (They can also teach stuff like; "in western culture, we usually perceive characters entering the stage from the left side, more positively." That's what I meant by 'language').

Ah, reading his comment, I think that a good thing would be to have a... i dont know how to say it... a "point of entry". A part of the pic that screams for you to look at it first, then something second, then something last, etc. There are thousands of different techniques to achieve such hieracy, but anyway I guess you already know most aobut this.

Anyway, its a reaaaly good work! I hope you aint dissapointed about it, its really great!.
