Description
Tried to explore a possible architecture and color scheme for the hallway outside Luna's bed chamber, this is mostly based on the interior design in the show.So far I'm not liking this Rococo-like silver-blue color scheme, what do you think the interior of Luna's tower would look like?Β

if done right a night themed castle would look fantastic
I like this concept
deep blues, indigos, violets and purples
and highlights of white, silver, grey, cyan, and pastels of blue, violet, and purple.
The floors made of polished, fine grained, black granite, or blue volga granite.
and can't forget gemstones as accents
Blue Labradorite, Alexandrite, Amethyst, Aquamarine, Tanzanite,
Lapis Lazuli, blue Tourmaline, blue Opal, Sapphire, Turquoise

I love the idea of a night themed section of the castle, and I really like this idea! The architecture is nice, but the blue/silver colour scheme does blur together a bit; maybe using more furnishings (banners, curtains, flowers, lighting, paintings, side tables, statues... etc.) would be a way to keep the colours/theme but also allow you to change the walls/floor. Just my two cents.

Actually I think you captured her essence very right. Luna is a dreamweaver for all of the ponykind, remember. She shepards and guards the sleep of her little ponies, like Celly guards and steers them in their waking hours. Thus I'd expect she sleeps unusually long hours, but is very active while awake.
I could see this place as the 'prelude' to her chamber, where she spends half of her life. A place of mental transition from one life to another. The colors gradually get darker, softer, the starry floor reminds me of the "dreamspace", without up or down, left or right. It's just β space. I would imagine her bed is also very different from usual pony's bed.
Behind those doors lies an entrance to another world, one she visits every night. The soft place. The realm of weaving. As the colors darken, the space becomes fuzzy and murky, and the edge, separating our realities becomes thin. Just one look down...

I for one think the colour selection is splendid! Love the blue-silverish theme and the lighting, shadows and reflections make those tones really stand out. I love your older pieces, but this... is it possible that even at this level of expertise you're still getting better??

Given that Luna wasn't around until recently most of it was probably constructed under Celestia's guidance and reflect more what she thought about her sister. Some time for personalization later though:
My impressions of Luna's personality is that she is more impulsive and outwards acting than her sister. Perhaps photo's and memorabilia more than commissioned works of art? She also seems to want others to be comfortable and relaxed. I'd imagine this may express itself in plush carpets and partially secluded seating areas. I also think fresh flowers would be prominent.
