I really do think this looks lovely! The overall colours aren't straining on the eyes and I think go decently well together, and the eyes themselves on the painting are quite pleasing to the viewer, your choice of the shade of blue for the iris is very dark and makes them overall pop in comparison to the rest of the image, and it's good that you didn't use pure white for the sclera! You really gave the illusion that the eyes aren't flat on the head, and the darkening between the brow and eyelid was really well done. As well as the cheeks on the image, I can make out the cheekbones quite easily.
My advice to you though is to next time make the nose face more downwards, it seems too upturned for the position the head is in. The lips as well could be widened a bit, they look a bit too small in comparison to the rest of the face. Another good piece of advice would be to more clearly define where the hair splits on the top of the head, it makes the hair look more realistic and well planned out, but what you have right now is not bad! Finally what I recommend is painting the horns on a character first, then the hair going around them, it allows you to easily make the illusion that the horns are coming out from under the hair, while right now it partially looks like they are in fact on TOP of the hair!
