This is another map piece of mine, done as part of a series commissioned by ~fivetheletterl .Tempera, pastel, conte.
April, 2006: This piece was selected by Cornell's INK Magazine as cover art for their Spring 2006 issue. For winning the cover art contest, I received a $75 gift certificate to a nice local restaurant.

this one's my favorite, I love how well the water is captured in it, a mixture of water itself's character, and the marks of water like the circular watermark like bits...
