So recently I picked up this really neat program called Clip Studio Paint Pro for $50. It's basically the same thing as Paintool SAI, but with more stuff from Photoshop added to it (like layer modes, importing 3D models, and rulers). The rulers can be placed any way you want so backgrounds in perspective are as easy to map out as you would on paper. It also has a comic panel tool which makes comic illustration much more manageable . I highly recommend it
Turns out my transfer from SAI wasn't as difficult as I thought since the same thing I did here was what I've always done before. Here are some other examples of crud I did with CSPP:
