I like this very much. You definitely put a lot of work into it and it shows. I stayed up late watching the election returns and I was speechless. Goodwill towards our nation is here once more and as a future Officer in the Army I know the positive outcome of such a thing. The whole world is breathing a little easier. Let pray that he will govern wisely, and may God keep him and his family safe.

I didn't realize how cool that was at first, and couldn't see why it was featured. I was just like...he pasted a background and ran it through a static filter, wtf is so cool about that? Then I saw the full view, and it's damn awesome. I don't even like the guy, but I think this is amazing. Well done, well done, cool freaking work.

I love this. I didn't follow the election that much because I'm not an American citizen and I was very cynical about the electoral process. However, I kept checking CNN that night and I did see his speech and I was surprised I teared up. I've watched his speech on youtube a few times and I still find it very inspiring. It upsets me that people are so against his win because he represents what America is supposed to represent - the ability to become what you set your heart on through hard work. George Bush epitomized the notion that being an American president was a foreign and unreachable concept because you needed to be from the right family and background. Obama deserved to win the election because his campaign did not make personal attacks against McCain or choose a random female governor from a state as obscure as Alaska in order to spark more media interest. McCain's concession speech was so good because he realized days earlier that he didn't have a chance. he had time to practice.

And you being a non-american citizen further fills me with hope that Obama will be able to bring about change not only domestically but internationally, because now, for the first time in a while, when people look at the president of the United States they see something different, and the fact that people from other countries are inspired by our president (elect) makes me proud to be an american and proud that we elected this man.
