Description
A Blue Shell plush from Mario Kart that a friend commissioned! I was so happy when she came to me with the idea- I've been wanting to make Mario Kart items for a long time! She requested the Wii version of the shell and I'm so happy she did. The wings really tie the whole thing together!Figuring out the pattern for the body was quite a bit harder than I anticipated. I tried about 3 different ways of sewing the rim into the seam and they all ended in disaster. In the end I decided to just hand sew the rim on after the body had been stuffed. It turned out so much better! All the spikes and the wings are also hand sewn and the shell details are satin stitched. I'd definitely call this a life size plush. Its perfect for putting in your car window so other drivers know not to mess with you
