please please just…hear me out before you murder me?
someone drew Smytus and Jenny fighting together and I automatically friendshipped them. I can’t believe I didn’t think of it before since I’m all about friendshipping (sometimes shipping I guess) my favorite with their worst enemy. o’: and then maybe a week or so ago, imagined them like a father/daughter relationship, since it works out age wise (or…mental age wise? since Jenny is 5 and Smytus is thousands of years old hah) and Jenny doesn’t have a dad so
also with Jenny/MLaaTR, the messages never really clicked with me before, but now they sure do. I can totally relate to Jenny not fitting in and trying to be everything society wants her too and feeling like a freak (thankfully I’m not like that now, but I do of course have other issues, bleh) so I just, wanted to have Smytus comforting her after some mean stuff was said or somethin’ I dunno??? I’M SO SORRY
I can actually imagine Smytus leaving the cluster I mean, at least in Dressed to Kill he seemed to mainly be into it to feel important?? and not that he was so aggressively strong on what they do and believe and stuff like Vexus. also he forgot his mission so quickly. not saying that he would suddenly be like “nope bye” but I mean, like if Jenny could convince him humans are good and though there’s bad ones they should be protected- and wow that sounds exactly like Sonic Adventure 2’s ending /shot
I can imagine Smytus being like 100x more embarrassing than her mom also

To be honest, even though Smytus is the General of the Cluster, part of me feels sorry for him, because I've been in extreme situations that required me to do somewhat villainous actions, felt like a failure, and I always had desires to feel important or matter to someone/something.
This picture is also heartwarming to me because it reminds me of my relationship with , like your versions of those two, we're a father-daughter duo
