Description

An image that got stuck in my head an age ago from a dream, nightmare or something else, the character has fallen into a pit of chemical filth that was not producing a heavy stink till he broke the surface. The only way out of the thick caustic mud is to desperately try to remain above and pull himself out through a line of barbed wire. The wire is questionabley intact and rusted but such issues must be ignored for hope it will hold out and allow escape through great pain and exposure. Definitely a Stalker like character in the Zone or something similar as the secondary corpse was not added to the memory nor his firearm being abandoned. Hope the wire holds out and he can get to some water for a wash of real quick. I dont think this is a good memory more of a sense of doom with desperate attempts to thuart it, imagine if escape was achieved the medical chaos that would ensue in a wasteland such as tetanus, shredded lungs from the chemical fumes, severley irritated eyes, bleeding and the presence of already being in a hostile environment alone...oof sorry for the downer.
