Description
First let me make it clear that if i had caught him in the act of killing it I would have stopped him but unfortunatly I've never had that option. So why not document this as it is fairly unusual for a domestic cat to kill such large prey. It's unnecessary and dangerous (squirrels bite). OJ is cool because this was his third squirrel for the day. He had completely eaten the other two leaving only feet and tails as was the fate for this one. In one of my journals I told everybody that he killed my rabbit when the cage was left open. Let me also mention that he is and was diabetic at that time. We can't afford insulin for him so the vet told us that he would become uninterested in anything when it was time for him to go (food, water, attention.) Vet said even with the meds he had about two years. Here he is a year later obviously on his last leg but fighting none-the-less. He (in his lifetime) has taken out numerous small birds and rodents, a fair amount of squirrels, 3 pigeons/doves (not so small birds), my rabbit, some other rabbit, and an owl not to mention those that i haven't seen. That is why OJ is uber. I Love him and I'll miss him when he's gone.
