Description So heres another attempt at working with colours. This time i've expanded my palette a little bit more and added in slight hints of green and red.
Ive tried a bit of warmth as well but i dont think i put enough.

I didn't use multiply or other tricks, not very comfortable with that just yet.

2000X3000, with only a few layers.

Maybe the next step would have been to use smudge with scattering? Not sure how i could use "mode" to my advantage either at this point.

Please crit!

Haha, Now that i look at it again, you're spot on about my hesitation with picking out colours. I get so afraid that i wont be able to make sense of it that i keep spiralling around the same hues and shades.

The blending is still pretty terrible, i splotch the brusher on there and then eyedropper any parts that look off. Its pretty bad lol, i didnt smudge at all. I dont know how to make the colours flow that well.

And thanks for your help. I'll be uploading more later today

A lot of improvement, but I still think you can be bolder with the colors. The colors you've chosen still looks a bit dull, so try and saturate them a bit more to avoid them looking grey.
I like the level of blending now through, it gives a painty feeling, kind of. Be careful with smudging and blending too much at this point.
But seriously, great improvement from the other pic, you're a quick learner
