Another sketch I was seeking to do, out of my first original outputs for the Digimon franchise!. Since I've been having a like for it for a while, this sorta is my first "Oc's" or ideas for an original universe on the Digimon multiverse, I'll prattle what I thought below:

The main plot point within this world I thought, it is of Yggdrasill as the manager of the Digimon world being shut down just before it gained true sentience and pseudo omnipresence. (😜 Which sorta you could think this universe is canon, it just being Yggdrasill never get to connect with this universe lacking a twin)

Reason behind this on how the people that created the Digimon world being "more aware" of the innerworks of the Digimon world. And fearing of Yggdrasill rising capabilities!.

With this story I also thought put more eye on adult characters, adult characters who don't care about Digimon feelings as deeply and who even see them as profitable. Which also includes the Crack team on it's near future!

I want to touch what I think can be a genre of story on itself, that fiction revolving that with the current technology, the right moment and space on time; on our great insignificance to the universe, we can greatly impact it

Best example on real life being that of the large hadron collider. Of course, not a real concern really

The only fictional example that I've got in mind now being Tron. It is on itself a pocket world!. Digimon I believe it's a great example of a human creation that scaled up to bigger than our own universe, forever changing it's course.

And lastly depend on the typical plot device of, "this significant historic event?, our franchise and product ™️ has relation with it!".
This story using the Y2K bug problem of computers as of it!, aid by the fact it wasn't such a great deal, and the real deal being that of the Digimon world becoming a risk to "the real world". The Digimon world quite in fact, would become for at least to say, tangible
(No world fusion shenanigans, more "The mist" ones👹)

Now as for what is on the drawing. Lucemon clearly sticks out!, I've drawn Yggdrasill rounded and less imposing, like showing of an earlier stage. Since I'll like to allude this events happened very early during the Digimon world, during it's ancient time.

One thing that happened thanks this being Lucemon not becoming a fallen angel, and pretty much, replacing Yggdrasill and doing almost all it pleases!. He still wasn't rejected by his god, yet, he had a thorn feeling he would had eventually.

The first thing he did was to give an fighting spirit to Digimon, which would aid on Digimon resisting to their dire world. What he wouldn't see coming being that of the humans!, something that for hype, I'll let understood Lucemon didn't quite understood this, which Yggdrasill mostly a machine did. ¿How would a purely Digimon entity react to them?

Next to the drawing on interest, depicting an Armor digimon of the time, and a inhabitant of it!.

May call it either Dimetromon or Pelycomon, it being a Digimon of ancients times related to Ancientgreymon!. It is said their whole evolutionary line extinguished trought the continent they lived literally exploded due volcanic activity. But one of it's earlier evolutionary stages did survive.
This would show up on it's fragmented data it kept when they evolved again, showing characteristics of this past evolutions.

And lastly, the creation of File island by humans to experiment on Digimon, and first two subjects to jump into this world...
