Description I saw Star Wars when it had Star Wars at the top of the scroll and not "A New Hope". One of the things that made the movie was that the Rebellion snubfighter pilots were flying bondo and wired-together make-dos while the Empire had advanced and powerful fighters. Unfortunately nerd-gasm and George's inability to leave well enough alone has the InCom T-65 the sweetest thing flying in the hands of grim aces while the Tie/ln are battery-powered papier-mâché kites dipped in gasoline and flown by interns and weed-heads. Kind of makes that heroic attack not all that heroic.

Now in a new d20 Star Wars campaign set at the End of the Republic and Rise of the Empire the Separatists/proto-Rebellion has to make-do. I know, what if we put a cramped cockpit into these deactivated Vulture- and Hyena- droid fighters and send our daring young heroes out to hold of the Galactic Empire's Venator cruisers and Eta-3 snubfighters while we try to escape wave after wave of clone troops.
