This is a beautiful Italian song, called “valore assoluto”. The chorus in English reads:
“In this present of mine
and relative emptiness,
you’re my real and only
absolute value”.
I heard it yesterday for the first time, and by the first chorus it already gave me a rush of inspiration to draw something romantic.
And so, it took me two hours straight (and I almost never took my hand away from the paper sheet) to start and end this.
If you can’t recognize the characters, it’s meant to be Sally and Lightning from pixar movie series “Cars”. I don’t know about you, but in my opinion that part of the lyrics just fits them well.
