No matter how I try, her hands look WEIRD. I don't get what I am doing wrong

Also she looks rather embarrassed but I want her to look happy/smiling in this one. I even asked my animation wizard friend and he drew a sample face for me that actually looks happy. yet, when I tried it on my drawing, she still looks embarrassed! I don't get what I got it wrong lol

Still I am happy with this, lol.

By the way, I forced myself to draw this one without creating a million layers and so, when drawing this, it's super manageable. Of course, there are some overlapping lines here and there but I think those were inobvious enough to ignore. While drawing this way decreased the art quality a little bit but the quality is already low to begin with and it's a lot more fun this way
