Description
Starting with this Bing output , I cleaned it up a bit and swapped out the face with something less feisty and more, well, empty before adding a tongue. Most of the spiritual inspiration for this design comes from one of my dogs, a little Shih-Tzu with more spunk than sense, although Flufflup's design is based on the Cavapoo, a popular Australian breed.

The way I figure it, we're long overdue for a proper dog starter Pokemon, and Flufflup certainly qualifies.

I flirted with the idea of allowing Flufflup to evolve into the Grass/Ground type, but I think I'm gonna steer its family in a slightly different direction. I don't want to step on Torterra's toes, and the Downda region requires a bit more oomph from its starters!
