Hahaha, I've had this idea in my head for the longest time, yo! XD
Quite a puzzling concept... I've always wondered about that crazy mystery about whether or not Ghost-Type Pokemon can die... I think they can't, being ghosts and all, even if it might not make sense. Maybe some dual Ghost-Types, like maybe Sableye, can, but those with less of a physical form, such as, well, Gengar, cannot. :3
And there's a Pokedex entry on Haunter that says, "Because of its ability to slip through block walls, it is said to be from another dimension." SO! That's where Gengar got that little hypothesis from. :3

One of my friends think that, although they're Ghost-Types, they are still capable of death like any other type... But then his theory gets all weird and confusing, even a bit contradicting in a way and shtuffz, so... Yeah. XD;
