I just finished doing everything in the demo for this so I'll be all set for it's Feb 7th release.Β I think the issue with the censorship is because the characters are chibi.Β That makes them look like children to some.Β Great pic. ^^

Damn, I didn't know they did that to Fire Emblem too. I really can't stand censorship. I mean, I've seen the differences between them with this outfit and the censored version still doesn't look bad, but it's the point of it that I hate. I read that they also raised the characters' ages in the western release which I also think is unnecessary, and that honestly should've rendered any prudish sway to change their attire moot. Censoring is just stupid and a slap in the face to the artists who worked on the character and costume design. Still, it's not going to keep me from buying it. BD looks to be one of the best traditional RPG's to come out in a long time. After all, you said they censored FE and I didn't even notice; the character designs were still awesome. Who'd they change in that, btw? Now I curious as to how they were really supposed to look.

Censorship is nothing really new, it's just that we now have the internet to show us what we're missing out on. As for FE, it was minor but still unnecessary and if anything made it worse ca.ign.com/articles/2013/05/02β¦

lol yeah, that FE censorship was pretty lame. There was nothing about that original image that should've even sparked the prudes; real people wear clothes like that on the beach for anyone to see all the time. It's not like Tharja's underaged either; your character can have kids with her for Christ's sake.Β If that was the only thing, that's not too bad at least. Stupid and unnecessary, both in FE and BD because well, kids are going to see girls in bikinis every summer in real life, but the changes aren't experience altering. What was worse was way back on the NES when they decided to take religious references out of everything, making churches in Final Fantasy into clinics, or in Castlevania - and these ones were really retarded - turning crosses into "boomerangs" and holy water into "fire water" if I remember right; you know messing with the whole point of holy weapons in regards to vampire mythology. The only time it'd be really bad I think is if they took out an element of a game altogether like removing a character or costume entirely like Mitsurugi being removed in favor of Arthur in some versions of SoulCalibur, or like in the SNES Mortal Kombat - taking out the gore in a game when that's its gimmick.
