I ran into some of your stuff on the r/smashbros! Nice to see someone who I assume to be great at Smash to also be really great at art too. It makes me feel better knowing that it's possible to balance playtime and proper art practice haha.
Anyway, your work is really great. Your style reminds me of the in game models themselves and I really love the soft shading you use.

I was drawing a full bodied version but she wears a coat that covers her whole body so I ended up just focusing on the face

This is some nice artwork.
I was a little disappointed when it was revealed they went with the pigtail hairstyle for Robin. For my male Robin, I did use the hair in smash, but in brown, but for my female Robin, I used the peek-a-boo style (one eye covered by a bang) in purple. I was hoping to be able to use that and Wendee Lee's voice. But still. At least she's cute.

It would have been nice to have a hooded variant like they did for Little Mac but I guess that would have meant 4 model variants for robin

Not neccesarily. They should have taken the Little Mac, Wii Fit Trainer, and Bowser Jr. concepts and mashed em together. Little Mac has 16 costumes, 8 for himself, 8 for the wire frame. Wii Fit Trainer has a male and female variant (so four and four). Bowser Jr. has every koopling.
My solution for Robin? Male and Female. 8 Male and 8 Female. 8 different male hairstyles (and colors because we need colors) and 8 different female hairsyles. Therefore you can easily play the avatar you choose in Awakening (if their hair colors line up).
Make it happen Nintendo! DLC!
