Thistle's Steer RipoffHis name is Ripoff because that's what he does to your arms if Thistle tells him. That's a total lie. It's actually because he was a ripoff even though she bought him for two pennies and a loose shoelace.
Very very underweight and covered in a lot of small scars, Ripoff has had a hard life. When he was stolen by the Wanderers as part of a bigger group of cattle, his previous owners didn't see him as worth the trouble to drive back home once found, so he was given away for cheap by Sergeant Cinnabar. He's very gentle for his size, but practically untrainable to someone like Thistle. Luckily, he likes standing still and coming over if you have treats, so she manages.
Ripoff comes with a rope halter and horn paint that Thistle uses to prevent him from being stole (again)
