Description I won this on e-bay for $38 USD from ewgraphics. His link is here: [link]

The auction was for 1 - 5 characters with background. What I was after was blending Ghostbusters and Danger Girl, and I can't say I was 100% satisfied with the finished piece of art. The characters are sloppy, disproportional and kinda wonky. The art he showed as examples were far better than what I received.

This piece of art showed up about 4 days after I gave him the details, so I can't complain about the speed, but if I was smart, I would have complained. I wasn't very vocal back then, but I'm getting better.

Overal, I found this to be below par, and won't be reccomending him to others.

TANGENT:
I've noticed a trend with these types of auctions / offers. The more characters, the less overall effort. Also, the lower the winning bid, the less effort. It's almost like the artist assigns a set amount of time per dollar. Like: if it wins at $100, I'll put in an hour and a half. If it wins at $40 I'll put in 1/2 hr. I've seen some smart people on e-bay put in the criteria for the art which clearly defines what you get depending on how high the bid goes (like $5.00 you get a crappy sketch, but if it gets up to $150 you get a full digital renderring). A good e-bay auction should clearly define what the artist is willing to do.
