Description
What does my artistic journey look like?Let me start from the beginning so that I can explain everything with the nice flow.
I was born in Lubin, Poland where I grown up and where I also discovered my passion for creating.
It started pretty simple - as usual kids like to grab a pencil and draw a lot, so did I. But I didn't stop. ( and I won't
After some time there was another field of interest which grabbed my attention - sport. After checking out some different disciplines I picked handball as my favourite and spend some years on training that. 7th year of continuous training brought me an accident in the form of "beautifully" torn apart Achilles tendon.
There was not that much hope to get back to the field but still - I kept trying on getting back to the shape.
It took me few months to build my muscles back and start to train once again. Unfortunately nothing was working as I expected. In addition studies which I already started at the university situated nearby didn't really grabbed my heart and bored me almost to the death. :v
Then I got a little bit deprresed and started to think about what to change in my daily routine.
One day it was my Mom who mentioned something about studying abroad.
5minutes later I was sitting with laptop on my knees and searching on Google if there is anything interesting outside my country.
I found Denmark to be like that... so after few days of considering that idea I decided to go for it and give it a try.
Now I'm here in Aarhus writing this post around 6AM with a smile on my face even tough I'm a little bit tired at the moment. You may think - 'Why is she smiling?...' - It's because I'm really happy for the decision I made, for the fact I'm here.
The faculty I'm studying here is Multimedia Design and Communication which perfectly match my field of interest so studying here is actually a pleasure. AND IT IS INTERESTING.
Apart from that I had a lot of different experiences which I probably wouldn't get if I'd still stay in Poland.
I'm volunteering a lot, networking, meeting a lot of interesting people, discovering different cultures and developing myself as a creator.
Lastly I even got a chance to give it a try in the tattoo world and I became an apprentice at one of local tattoo studios.
Month ago I had a job interview at LEGO.
Yesterday I had a meeting about digital exhibition which I'm going to be a part of.
Today I'm sitting and creating this entry.
Tomorrow I'm going for a design walk to see local design companies.
So... what will future bring to my artistic journey?
I don't know. But I'm sure it won't be anything boring.
