So, I have apparently been a member of Deviant Art for 6 years and have always admired the people on here, who put their work out into the open for the world to see, without fear of criticism or negativity.

So with that said, I want to show the first real digital painting I have ever done, using my new XP Art Display 22 Pro, which I bought instead of a Nintendo Switch! While I have played and loved Nintendo games since I was 4, I wanted to invest in something that would allow me to be creative as a hobby and be productive in developing my drawing skills.

I kind of built this character up from a very rough silhouette, and gradually layered more and more detail as I went along. I didn't really have a picture of how the character was going to turn out; I just had ideas long the way and added things as I went along.

In any case, I am very happy with it, and while I know there is much room for improvement, I feel that it was more about starting and completing something than the end result itself.

Please feel free to criticise, offer advice, or just say hello, if you happen to stumble upon my first deviation!
