WOO! I love the hunger games! XD so of course I had to do a lil' somethin. I LOOOVEEE Peeta. XD Poor bread boy gets abused to no end. I cried for him like 489234 times. Truly a pitiful character.Team Peeta all the way! (although Gale is extremely sexy. before the last like book of course. before he turned into a total douchebag T_T)

Just finished this book a couple hours ago! (And of course it was straight to the internet to find Peeta/Katniss art <3)
The ending was sad, but good. I just wished they spent a little more time on Peeta and Katniss's future. I'm sad Finnick didn't get a proper death scene though. >(
Still, the ending was suiting, thought.

I hated Mockingjay... The more I think about it the more I hated it. I'm happy about who she ended up with but that's it. It seemed so rushed and so carelessly thrown together! I felt like I was reading a sentence outline of the basic plot. And Katniss's insanity got on my nerves to no end. Granted, I might have been the same way in that situation but still... I feel like an excellent story line was simply cut short of its full potential.

One thing I really liked about the relationship between these two is that it persevered through all the trouble they went through. I was mostly heart broken about Madge, though, especially since she and Gale never got a chance to find happiness. I felt too many people were killed in the last book and when they were killed, it seemed like those deaths were only to humanize Katniss. That still doesn't sit right with me. Especially poor Annie, who was left alone without Finnick. Poor girl. Lovely image, by the way. I love Katniss in this because SHE'S NOT WHITE, gawd, I am so tired of people coloring her white; she's olive-skinned! I hope the movie doesn't white wash her... but they probably will ruin everything even if they don't. Anyways, great image! Really displays that perseverance these two have and it just gives us an insight into their more tender moments.

WOW!! finally SOMEONE who agrees with me. I think the book would have been better without Prim and Finnick's deaths. OR ATLEAST she could have killed them in a better way. I mean really? Finnick's death was just pathetic.
And lmao, true. I'll be really pissed if they don't get a tan girl to play the part in the movie >.< I just drew Katniss to look like myself XD this is the same color of skin and hair that I have.

Finnick was BY FAR my favorite character, the books were AMAZING. But Finnicks death kind of ruined it for me. And Prim, seriously? Couldn't you have Katniss be a little happy?
