wow i finished this a long time ago but remembered the deadline is like, today (technically)
anyways this is for PaperKnite 's contest! design a character off a drink. i chose a shirley temple!
shirley temple is a sweet non-alcoholic drink, achieved through mixing cherry or grenadine syrup with sprite, 7-up, or ginger ale. it is garnished with a maraschino cherry, and in some cases citrus as well.
along with this, it's namesake originates from the child actress of the 1930s, shirley temple. in her early career, temple's hair and dimples were a trademark of hers, along with the many whimsical outfits she'd wear. the character design takes inspiration from those!
