The story of this is as follows. Three years after having Mia, Misty ends up having an affair with a traveler by the name of Alexander Wright. He had come to the Village to do some soul searching; and the two had fallen not in love, but lust. Misty ended up pregnant, and was going to keep the baby, raising him with her husband, but late one night; a few weeks after his birth, Pheonix (Then Kitsune Fey), was kidnaped by his father and taken away. Him and his father lived abroad until he was three when they returned to Japerica. While looking into Mia's death he finds his original birth certificate and convinces Miles to help him confirm it. After he takes Kitsune as his middle name.
No even hints of Maya/ Pheonix in this one as Maya shoots Pearls shipping in the head, explaining they were half siblings. Pearl take is surprisingly well.
