This is my version of Gary and Cadence, two mascots of Club Penguin [link] , an online multiplayer virtual world which I have been on since 2006. It was the very first website I used on a regular basis! Cadence is the mascot and trainer in the dancing minigame, and Gary is the mascot for the PSA and the secret agents I guess...

This version of Gary I've drawn [on a base] will be in 2 upcoming fanfics of mine, 'The Deactivated and the Forgotten' and 'The Isatrix Chronicles'.

The story behind this picture is, Gary has to babysit his cousin Cadence for a few hours. He gets a bit embarrased when he's seen with her in public. You guys can figure out what happens next XD

Fuck... I'm so tired of you folks getting this wrong.

I do not see them as a couple, and never would. If any other you bothered to read my earlier comments, you'd notice that I called them COUSINS, and as part of my own little headcanon. I can't help your headcanon, I'd just like if you'd keep it the fuck away from mine.

This was not meant to be an accurate representation of the two CP mascots. My headcanon often runs away with me, and I liked the base and thought it would suit them.

Flame away after this, noobs, because even if I do retaliate I'm safe in the knowledge the I'm the one of the two of us who has a life, and I've done much better art since this lazy-ass dolling work (mostly because I ran as far away from bases as humanely possible and read some proper art books and tutorials.).
I still have huge respect for dollers and pixelers, but now I have enough respect for my own artistic ability that I don't need to use someone else's guidelines to express my ideas.

If any of you get the wrong end of the stick again, I'm just gonna disable comments. You idiots are driving me to it. It makes my day when someone gets it right, and to know they've read my own take on this work. GONNA KICK ALL YOUR INCORRECT ASSES if this isn't nipped in the bud.
