“If only balloons could talk?” she had once mused long ago.

Well the one she had now certainly could . . . In its own way. Perhaps that is why she always liked balloons with things printed on them so much. Ones like her current balloon excited her most of all.

But still, even she knew it was odd for her to take a balloon such as this one in a stroll through the park. Something like what was on her balloon right now could invite all sorts of attention . . .

Would some mischief-making child try to take it up on its offer?
Could some handsome stranger ask if they could do it for her?
Maybe someone would be pretending not to notice, but in secret hoping to get a glimpse of her “playing” with it, as it seemed to be intended for?

A giggle passed her lips, as she stared up at her balloon. She had encountered all kinds of people, from all walks of life, doing this sort of thing. The anticipation of what could happen only enhanced her enjoyment of this little hobby of hers. Like so many balloons of hers just like this one (Abet, with different colors, and even phrases.), it would one way or another get its wish. They always did.

Then again this brought up another riddle about her balloon; it did not specify “how”, just “what” . . .

Of course the easiest way would be to simply let it go, and let the helium pull it up further, the lack of outside pressure stretching it more, and more, and MORE . . .

The downside of that would be that she would not see the end, which she really did want to be witness too. For this same reason she would prefer to do the deed herself too, although she might be persuaded to let someone else IF they asked really nicely . . . And they were kind of cute

Still, as no one seemed to be bold enough today to ask, it looked like it was up to her after all, not that she minded in the slightest of course. Having not brought anything sharp of her own to use, not even in her purse, to help her, she now contemplated taking the initiative in this case.

Would you happen to have a pin with you? She would only need it for a moment . . .
