Eclipse and Twister are two non identical twin (fraternal) sister ponies from Canterlot who are rare because one is a unicorn and the other is a pegasus despite being twins. Eclipse is a unicorn like her father Pitch Black and Twister is a Pegasus like their mother Cyclone. They also have very different personalities.

Eclipse is a skilled magician who attended Celestia's school for gifted unicorns as a child. She is very hardworking. She is average intelligence, but still was an honor roll student due to her constant studying. She can be stern, most ponies her age think of her as no fun. she has very few genuine friends. She also is very neglectful to her sister, seldom making time for her. She can be blunt. She is a bookworm and she wears a necklace with a little bag containing a piece of Rose Quartz healing crystal in it.

Twister is more chill, laid back and just kinda figures things will work out, basically drifting through life. She is sweet and popular, but sometimes lazy. She is incredibly smart, but never used it. She got terrible grades mainly from blowing off half of her homework. She attended a normal school, unlike her sister. She has a best friend named Sweet Tooth and a boyfriend as well who she thinks of as a sister more than she does for her actual sister. She's very athletic and a fast flier. she enjoys flying and napping on clouds. For some weird reason things DO just tend to work out for her.

their relationship is very VERY tense. They are both jealous of each other. Eclipse is jealous of Twister for her good luck, popularity amongst other ponies their age, her boyfriend, and her natural intelligence that she feels her sis is wasting. Twister is Jealous that Eclipse attended a special school, feels her family loves her more as a result, has a good work ethic, is respected and feels Eclipse is generally more successful career and education wise than her. They DO love each other very much, they just have trouble showing it.
