History/Backstory: Rose and Sapphy met on Earth during the colonization of the planet. Initially they were just friends, but quickly fell on love and joined the rebellion. Eventually Sapphire predicted the diamonds would bubble and shatter all remaining rose quartz gems and attack the Earth. In order to keep Rose safe, Sapphire convinced Rose into "temporarily" fusing with her to make her less recognizable and to give Rose future vision in order to protect her. They (now fused as Iolite) retreated to an abandoned moon base to hide out and unfuse when it becomes safe. Iolite is later found by Stevonnie and brought back to Earth where she unfused. At first glance Sapphire seems to enjoy being separated while Rose misses being Iolite. People treat her weird as Rose, which does not help. She ends up bonding with Connie, who she confided in that she only stays separate to keep sapphire happy as she seems to be happier when they split. Meanwhile Sapphire bonds with Steven and reveals that she wishes to be Iolite too but is pretending to be happy for Rose. Eventually Rose Quartz has a meltdown resulting from the discovery that Steven's Rose was Pink Diamond, but more importantly to her, not even a real Rose Quartz. She becomes upset that she was almost shattered by yellow along with all the other Roses for nothing and becomes upset with Pearl and Greg for being distant despite that she isn't that Rose. In fact Rose want even Rose. After the meltdown that Sapphire failed to predict she asks why Rose is so unhappy and Connie reveals what Rose told her. Steven then apologizes and tells Sapphire to confess that she was unhappy as well. This results in them fusing again.

Her favorite Disney Princess would be Snow White. She doesn't get mad easily, but when she does it's BAD. Roses hair is based on Fluttershy.
