Update: Ok so I think I realized why I’m so depressed. I need to speak to my medication doctor. I think I need to change my bipolar medication bc my BPD has been bad lately. I am not going on a full hiatus, I’ll just not be as active as usual as when this occurs I get irritable. Yesterday somebody insulted a meme I posted on Reddit and I got so mad you’d think they’d slapped my mom. I was literally shaking. However, I also use art to vent so I will still be posting.

This oc is kind of a redesign of an old oc I had named prehnite.

Anyways, marble is the closest thing to a celebrity that homeworld has. Every gem knows and adores her. Much like many many earth celebrities, she is a completely different person than the media would have you believe. She comes across as a sweet, trustworthy and nurturing grandmother-like gem on the air talking in a sweet sappy voice. The minute everybody else is gone, she becomes a great big b*tch. She hates everyone else, except the Diamonds who she sucks up to. The diamonds know she’s a jerk, but up until Steven they could not care less. She has a pearl who operates the broadcast and keeps track of her fandom and ratings. She is abusive to her Pearl. Peridot used to be a fan of hers before leaving homeworld. Her weapon is a fan. She’s 6 and a half feet tall.

Marble: *on air* Hello my lovelies. Today homeworld has deployed forces to capture the longtime fugitive Rose Quartz, so stay safe and keep your eye out for rebels. Remember, homeworld is a system, so that means each and every gem has a place and purpose that each diamond is counting on you to do. From the strongest agate to the smallest mica, remember each one of you is important.

Marble Pearl: We’re clear! Excellent broadcast, my marble.

Marble: ….thank the stars! Can you believe millions of gems swallow that nonsense? Those clods are so easy to please. They’re almost as bad as you are, Pearl! Now if you’ll excuse me, I have an audience with the diamonds. Clean up in here. This room is as disgusting as you.

Marble pearl: yes, my marble. *mutters* one of these days I’m going to tell you the equipment is off when it isn’t. We’ll see how popular you are then.

Marble: what…?

Marble Pearl: nothing, your clarity.
