BIO:

Red Pearl is a former servant for a war general type gem commander named Spessartine who is a non fusion Garnet. Spessartine is a tough, smart mouthed garnet. She oversees agates and quartzes. She was actually very nice to her Scarlet. The two would sit around gossiping and cracking jokes about other gems, even diamonds when alone. Spessartine was created for pink to oversee Earth’s Quartz army. Her life was short, however. She was created shortly before earth was colonized when pink’s colony was approved, but an actual planet had not been selected. She was shattered by the diamonds for failing to prevent a rebellion, only 1,500 years later. Scarlet at this point joined the rebels to avenge Spessartine. She had two best friends in the rebellion, a Jasper and a Ruby. She secretly had feelings for the Jasper, but she was in a relationship already with an era 1 Peridot. She kept it to herself, but it was obvious. She spent most of her time hoping the Jasper and Peridot would break up. Eventually, they were talking about why they joined the rebellion. Their answers were mostly stereotypical about respect and how evil homeworld was because all four were working or servant class low ranking gems. Then there was scarlet. She talked about how her garnet was shattered by the diamonds, how they were willing to shatter a good gem like her, and how she was like a mother to her as humans say. The other gems laughed at her, the Ruby insisting that Spessartine was an evil homeworld general like the rest of them, that she was uppercrust and privileged, that she deserved it and that it was funny how quickly the diamonds turned on one of their own. Scarlet got mad, insisting that Spessartine was a good gem and just because she was high ranking she was not evil and that Spessartine had suffered under the diamond authority like everyone else. What the Jasper said next really hurt her, she said “what are you even doing here? You clearly didn’t suffer at all either. If homeworld is so great why don’t you go back and see if they would still take you?” Which in itself wasn’t so mean, but who it came from made it hurt more. She started to cry and said “maybe I will. I suffered because of you and literally wasted thousands of years on a stupid cause. Now I see what the crystal gems are really about! If it weren’t for you guys the diamonds wouldn’t have shattered her in the first place”. Feeling alone, she warped away. She was smart enough to know she could never go back to homeworld, She went to find Rose Quartz. However, Rose only agreed with them and stated that she had plans to shatter Pink Diamond because homeworld gems can’t be reasoned with. She simply left silently, dumbfounded.

Scarlet decided to alert Pink Diamond. Maybe if she turns in the leader of the rebellion for attempted murder, they’d take her back on homeworld. She warped to the palanquin that night, only to find the crystal gem pearl and Rose was already there. Rose noticed her immediately, She was instantly poofed and bubbled away.

She returns in SU future upon being unbubbled.
