Description MADE WITH AZALEAS'S DOLLS MERMSAID SCENE MAKER

biomes from left to right: Coral reef, Arctic, Mariana's Trench

I tried to be scientifically accurate choosing skin pigments, personalities and other features for them.

Coral is supposed to look Australian Aboriginal as a homage to the great barrier reef. In the shallow waters there tends to be a lot of sunlight so she would need more melanin to prevent sunburns. She is colorful to blend with the coral, plants and shells. She is very playful, cheery, vibrant and likes parties and gardening.

Glacier is supposed to look Scandinavian, so I made her white and fair skinned with light blonde hair and blue eyes. In the cold weather and icy water she wouldn't need melanin. She wears a dress reminiscent of a European princess and a pearl diadem. She loves sea animals and does not like humans.

Mariana is albino as at the bottom of a deep pitch black trench she has no need for melanin or even pigment. There are no human cultures anywhere near the bottom of the Mariana's Trench, so I based her on the wildlife. The shape of her tail is reminiscent of the frilled shark. Her lights are supposed to look bioluminescent like an angler fish, both for reeling in prey and allowing her to see. Her hair is wild due to the harsh conditions and poor visibility in the trench. She is very curious, but timid as she can't see in the bright light so she never ventures out of the trench.
