Description
I've always loved musk oxen (muskoxes?). They're actually closer cousins of goats and sheep than of cattle, and they're much smaller than they would seem to be. Three to four feet tall at the shoulder is about average. Then again again, my pony stallion is only three foot eight at the shoulder, but when he stands up, he's, like eight feet tall, so maybe a bipedal muskox would be an impressive figure. If he can't cast a spell on you, he can always knock you flat with his horns and jump up and down on you until you're sorry. Muskox tend to be a little hair-triggered.All I know about Shamanism is what I saw in Chamane by Bartabas, so there's no point in telling me I have the wrong kind of feathers hanging from his staff or they're in the wrong order. I would argue also that whatever you think you know about shamanism does not apply to the variety practiced by ovibus moschatus. So there.
This is 8x10" acrylic on masonite panel.
