Kid of Rainbow Dash and Pinkie
After the fall of the CE, Ponyville became one of the final “safe spaces” in Equesteria,
Additionally there was the disappearance of Royal Sisters, take over of Canterlot and impending death of Twilight to deal with as well
All of this led to RD and Pinkie into a relationship, not exactly of romance but of familiarity.
Then, in all the chaos a miracle of sorts happened and Dol was born
Unfortunately he was born very ill (understandably given the environment he was carried in)
This is also one of the reasons he doesn’t have any of the trademark Pinkie or Dash features
It was very touch and go in his early life, but he obviously pulls through
Has Lycanthropy
Unknown how he got it
Possibly in the bloodline already? AJ and Pinkie are distantly related in this verse (only)
He’s easily irritable even when not a full moon so he generally keeps to himself
Escorted /lived with Leo when he moved to the village

Shining and Cadence’s secret son
Cadence found out she was pregnant before the start of everything
Before she could tell anyone, Chrysalis revealed herself, the son she had with Shining (Cold Heart) and then killed Shining.
Because of this, she keep her unborn son a secret and made arrangement for Twilight to smuggle him away and raise him
He was raised in secret + isolation away from the others
Twilight later got news of her own imminent capture (and later death)
So she sent him off to an isolated village

I don’t think he’s going to be evil
Just kinda a misfit trying to go through life
