Description Feb 2009

Jade again, dodging bullets and getting ready to return a few shirken towards the shooter (not to mention showing-off a bit).

A fairly quick picture, I spent just over 3 hours on it.

I love it when Jade is in her silly moods. She's so much fun to rp. (It's also so wonderful rping the character after all these years. I originally created her back in '88)

I know the feeling, in my new X-men game, the characters we played 13 years ago are now teachers at the school, and characters from even furhter back in the 80's are now parents of some of the characters.

The children that our werewolf characters had are now old enough to be going through their first change and forming their own packs.

XD The character tends to shift between deadly serious to funny/geeky. It all depends on if people are relying on her or not.

In the game we just finished today she was captured on another planet, and, currently being Star Wars obsessed, she kept telling her captors that her name was Princess Leia.

Many years ago, when dinosaurs roamed the earth, and the land was all joined into a single continent... Or... Rather, about thirteen years ago I used to run "Rifts" quite a bit.

If there is anything more ridiculous than a couple of your players designing characters that are essentially midget ratlings about a foot tall that they are calling "mouslings" and then making one a techno wizard and the other an operator for the SOLE PURPOSE of being able to build a aerial vehicle about the size of a suburban and shaped like Han Solo's Falcon. With a "lightspeed" engine that consists of a time slip, thunderclap, and cloud of smoke all going off at the same time to jump seven seconds worth of distance away from pursuers, and a modified suit of small sized powered amor that they drive like it was a robot and looks like Bobba Fett. Wielding TW flaming swords and calling them lightsabers, and allowing me to build a few pages of random tables to determine at the start of each game session what had gone wrong with their retardedly overpowered-for-it's-size ship... If there exists in the fullness of time and space anything more ridiculous or entertaining than these characters deciding that the "Coalition" is really just the "Empire" and trying to form a rebellion against it... I don't need to know about it.

Thanks for reminding me.

XD Awesome! We basically pulled RIFTS into Dragonstar. The characters are on a dimentional jumping starship with a 'western' theme where the captain is a paladin/marshall.

Jade has been deputized (sp?) and is completley loyal to the captain. If he says 'jump' she says 'how high'. If he told her to sacrifice her life for something, she would without a second thought. But she trusts him completely as well (and knows that if he asked her to do something that desperate it would be a situation where she would have done the same thing).
Whenever it comes down to 'business' she snaps into her serious mode, stops joking, quoting geek culture and grinning, and has this deadly look in her eye while she slips away like a shadow.
In translating her into d20 Jade is a multiclass ninja/ninja spy/psion (seer).

XD I know that the next world that they're going to is Star Wars... this is going to be fun (and Jade will have a serious fangirl moment).

Part of me really, really hopes she's funny/geeky when people are relying on her, and deadly serious when they're not...

That's great... Yay for aliases. x]

I am now profoundly disappointed.

Whatever, I'm about to go make a Fiann, I'll make her or him like that x]
