Sans could feel his bones tense up, the anger, the injustice seeped to the surface just a minute, that's all he needed, he told himself in his mind

Sans tried to push himself to action, to jump at the chance for revenge, to make the human Hurt for how he hurt! how his brother-

"Human, friend, Sans, Nice. Nice Human Friend Iodine. Sans Nice To Human."

The choppy remixed and shuffled words Flower Pap spoke before rung in his head.

Sans hung his head and gritted his teeth fists clenched in his hoodie pocket

Papyrus... How could Pap possibly trust another human after what the last one did to him? ... Pap thought of the human as a friend, HIS friend...

He couldn't...

Sans released the tension in his balled up fists regretfully. If this Human was going to live down here, Sans' was going to have to keep an eye on them... even if that meant sacrificing his time working on his machines... Papyrus was too trusting... but Sans couldn't bear to face his brother if he killed what Papyrus considered his "friend"

Teleporting away Sans' left no trace of his presence except for two indents in the snow his slippers left...
