"Go!"
The mad dash into the snow storm began.
I knew how I would tackle this trial.
"Artemis! Let's go!"
The young female Skarmory burst from her Pokeball. "Skaaah!"
"This will be tough, girl," I told her, placing a trusting hand on her side, "But I think we can handle it."
Artemis gave a small nod, "m'ree."
I bundled up and mounted my steel-clad steed.
"Yip!"
It was always thrilling to accelerate into the sky. The wind in your face and the feeling of freedom. As soon as we reached soaring altitude, I realized just how strong the snow and wind were.
"Mariel! Help us out!"
The youngest member of the team came forth from a burst of light. "Marill!"
"Mariel! Use your Aqua Ring to shield us from this onslaught!"
Mariel nodded. She lept onto my back and produced a massive, spinning, veil of water. The spinning water shield kept the snow and wind at bay while still being clear to allow me to see where we were going.
"Alright Artemis, we need to be on the lookout for a beacon. Let's head that way toward the Icy Rock!"
