Description
My mermaid fantasy, with passion as red as an autumn sunset. It mirrors my passion for the arts, red as the blood that flows through my veins.

This original character has been a year in the making.
I took my time with the original pencil work, let it sit for months and slowly layered on what i like to call digital icing. The sun was actually the hardest thing. The damn thing just kept getting bigger and bigger. I wanted it to have a warm feel to its so i adjusted the color balance just a tad bit more on the red side for effect. Some textures are sparingly added for effect try to catch them and tell me what they are

I took different influences for this mermaid character like my wife's eyes, or certain models, and even the disney film. But this is an Original Character and should be approached as such DA >

Note:I really worked hard on this guys. Please keep an open mind rather you are used to my normal works or just assuming that i am only limited to one style.
