Overview: The stoic, cold and calculative yet fearless oldest daughter of Tso Lan, who served as Leader of Demon Successors, and also the main antagonist to Freedom Fighters & Cutie Mark Crusaders, and also older sister and arch-nemesis to Nyx

Details: Tso Lan is my favorite Demon Sorcerer, along with Shendu, Bai Tza, Tchang Zu and Hsi Wu. And rather than just Drago being the son of Shendu, I decided to add other seven in as well. The oldest of all Demon Successors - Dark Xing, but I changed it into Hak Xing (More appropriate with Cantonese 'Pinyin' rather than mixing English and Chinese together). It means 'Dark Star'.

The design of Hak Xing proved to be remarkably challenging yet intriguing to design because I want to draw the eldest yet serious and stoic Demon Successor, who is following her father's footstep and be his successor, by following the tradition strictly, follow his order and do whatever means of necessary to achieve it. And also, I want to make her antagonist and parallel counterpart to Nyx, who wants to be normal and be with her family for joy and happiness.

I would draw her as the complete an insect-like demon but problem is that it will make her look like female Tso Lan. I want to differentiate her from him. So, I decided to draw her more humanoid with eyes and nose, just like Drago. Unlike Drago, she worn her traditional princess robe symbolized as respecting her ancestor's tradition and old ways. Her princess robe is inspired by Mulan's Blue-Red Robe, which is very fitting for her, and I added the inner black-white Cheongsam-like within her robe. Her hairstyle is very challenging. I originally wanted to base it on Aero (Marvel)'s with long and ponytail together. Doesn't fit her well or even make her more like princess. So, I decided to add a hairpin to clip to the side. It looks very pretty. Her crown is based on Chinese Princess's decorated crown except it's more on moon element since she is the daughter of Tso Lan.

Personality: Hak Xing is stoic and serious leader, who takes her job and follow the tradition very strictly and seriously. Like her father, she is also has calm and collective demeanor, though often lose her temper when things did not go her way especially being defied and challenged by her younger cousins but mostly Drago. She is also sophisticated and well-mannered as her father. She is intelligent yet much colder and calculative with her strategy, and pridefully believed that hers is perfect. She is very strict yet respectful traditionalist, who follow her ancestor's rules and tradition, regardless of era. She has strong dislike with modern technology and mechanism, which she considered to be distracting and preventing her to reach true potential. All she ever desire is pleasing her father and make him proud of her, which often frustrated and annoyed her that she failed him a lot.

Dark Magic: Hak Xing's basic and normal attacks to unleash and blast her Dark Magic attacks on her enemies via energy dark balls-like.

Gravity Powers: Like her father, Hak Xing has the ability to control and unleash the power of Gravity such as pull/push/repel them, slam and trap her enemies to the ground or even forced them to submerge, she can even rip mechanism and technologies to pieces, and she can lift up and levitate the most heaviest object.

Dark Beam: Hak Xing's advanced level of Dark Magic that allows her to repel and defeat her enemies at ease.

Blackish Blade: Hak Xing's makeshift dark blade-like that allow her to engage her enemies fiercely especially in the close combat.

Night Beam: Hak Xing's secondary powerful attack in blasting and defeating the enemies and their tanks at ease. But increased by moon's light, she could unleash so much more devastating powerful attack at her enemies.
