Description
I found a conodont in GPF3, partial and acid worn as it is. It matches Palmatolepis perlobata, a Fammenian late Devonian conodont. This confirms that the Gravel Point Formation was inverted, since an older conodont was found above this layer. This is not what I expected. I will finish posting the last interesting pics of GPF3, then move on to the Charlevoix Limestone.
