this is a Touhou Project OC i thought up over the holidays. her name is Akane Kutsuu, and she is the ghost of a girl from the Japans feudal era who was shot to death through her left eye during some kind of raid or sectarian riot. she is of the japanese untouchable caste and comes form a family of leather tanners, and her work in the family business has given her a very gruff and tough exterior. if it werent for her exposure to the uric acid fumes and tanning fluids, her beauty could easily match that of Kaguya Hourisan. being persecuted all her life, she projects a mean thuggish exterior to deter harassment, and is well verse in several forms of unarmed combat.

i have yet to think of a game scenario for her. i like to imagine that she has an undying hatred for the pure and refined, so im pretty sure she hate Reimu and Sakuya, among others. when alive she never belived in things like ghosts an youkai, so she assumes that beings like Youmu or Yukari are just lying humans who are trying to scare her, so she acts very cocky and arrogent around them (despite the fact that as a ghost, she technically IS a youkai). im not sure if she would get along with anyone in Gensokyo.
