Description
An old hunter, well past his prime and known to be a loner, sits alone on top of one of the many sandstone-arches staring over the vast flat plains that are part of the territory of his clan. A young student comes to visit him. Instead of sending him away like everyone else, he invites him to stay and shares some old stories. Although he would never admit it, the young kid has grown on him and he enjoys the time they spent together.

I didn’t really base the two on any real animal. The head looks a lot like that of a cat since that’s what I’ve been studying lately, but the legs are a lot longer than cat legs, more akin to the legs of fast runners. I made this one shortly after I finished my last piece “branching”. It was originally going to be a similar piece with a monochrome brown background but then I decided that it needed more colour.
