Description
This matte is painted in photoshop from skratch, little help of 3d for man-made objects. It is commision for local advertising agency. They needed tropical island form above and there was just one picture like it in all commercial databases. It was too much expensive, so they had hired me to do the job and cut their costing. They were very satisfied.Photo of printed poster

Oh wow. You painted this from scratch? Cool. I'm actually taking up architecture right now so I really want to fuse architecture with my art. However, these two disciplines (though having some similarities) are quite different when it comes to presentation. I'm having a hard time balancing these two. Maybe you have some tips? Haha

I always would say "If I were a billionare, I would buy myself a private island", it seems this is what I had in mind. Peace and privacy in a tropical paradise, yet a boat to go to the mainland if I get lonely or need supplies.
